"Oooo. Look at this one!" Buffy said pointing at the glossy 4x6.

"That one is hilarious!" Willow said with a giggle.

"Xander! Why did you put bunny ears on me? That is so old fashioned!" Buffy gave Xander a look.

"Old fashioned?" Xander stated in mock disbelief. "I don't think so, Buff, that move is a classic!"

"Yeah, maybe in some out of state old folk's home." Buffy shot back at him.

"Well, you don't have red eyes like I do in the picture. I look like I'm possessed or something." Then Willow quickly added, "Which I'm not by the way."

"Here's one with Xander making another funny face..." Buffy said stopping to show off the picture before flipping over to the next one. "Oh, here's one with Giles on his head."

Giles leaned over to look.

"You have the picture upside down, Buffy."

"Yeah, I know. I'm just having some fun. Though if you want to stand on your head--"

"I don't think so, Buffy."

"Here's another one, G-man, you have got to stop flirting with younger women."

"W-WHAT!?!"

"In this picture it looks like you are coming onto Will! And if you look at this other picture, if stranger's saw these they'd think you two were a couple." Xander said, handing Giles two of the pictures.

"You two weren't even aware of the camera." Buffy added looking over her Watcher's shoulder to look at the pictures in his hands.

"Look at those silly smiles on your faces. The conversion must have been good." Xander pointed out, making a funny face at Giles and Willow.

"Xan's right, look in this picture it looks like Willow is the one who is flirting."

"Buffy! I was not! I-I don't know how to flirt."

"Sure Willow, if you want to believe that fantasy that's fine." Xander said in a mocking tone.

"Guys, we are only teasing you." Buffy said gently. Looking at her friends. "Anyway, it's sorta the truth if I didn't know you two..." Buffy slowly shook her head as if she was trying to get rid of a weird thought.

"Yeah," Xander said still flipping through the pictures. Stopping every once in a while to show it to the gang. "Look at this one of Giles and Buffy dancing then look at this picture of Giles and Willow dancing. Both are dancing, yet, the picture of Giles and Wil, it's like they are showing us just how close you can be held while dancing the night away."

"Um...Well...I-I..." Giles looked as if he was trying not to blush.

"It does look like you couldn't get a piece of paper between you." Buffy agreed quickly with Xander.

"The old man is coping a feel!" Xander said with glee.

"Now see here!" Giles barked his protest and shot an offended glare Xander's way.

"Giles, it's okay." Willow said, reaching over and lightly touching his arm. "Xander is only playing around."

"Yeah, you know me. I'm always making with the funny!"

"Well, stop it." Giles gave the lad one of his famous Ripper glares.

Xander quickly nodded and looked back down at the pictures.

"Um, Giles?" Buffy asked gently.

"Yes?"

"You usually don't mind us teasing you."

"I-I just had a lot on my mind as of late."

Buffy smiled. "You always have something on your mind."

Giles smiled back at his Slayer. "That's very true."

Willow started to laugh like crazy, making everyone look her way.

"Share the funny." Xander looked over at her with a twinkle in his brown eyes.

"I'm looking at pictures you took from Christmas last year! Geez, Xander! I thought you said all these packets of pictures are new!"

"What? I will have you know that they are new! I just never took those films to get developed. They've been in the little container waiting for me to get off my lazy ass and get 'em developed. Yes, a whole year went by, but we've never seen those so I would still call them new."

Willow giggled. "Well, these pictures are so cute!" The Wicca turned one of the pictures toward the gang so they could see.

The picture showed Buffy, Willow and Giles beside one another. For some reason, Buffy and Willow wore their best funny face for Xander, who took the picture. Giles was looking at the girls with a bemused expression, wearing a silly smile.

The gang laughed.

"Man! I don't remember having *that* picture taken!"

"That is just so funny!"

They quickly went back to looking through the pictures Xander had taken. It was interesting to see themselves through Xander's eyes. It looked like his favorite moments were those that the gang wasn't looking or paying attention to the camera. All the pictures captured Buffy, Willow, and Giles.

One picture, Willow seemed to hold in her hands for a long time. It was of her and Giles. Just them. Laughing. Talking. The camera caught the sparkle in their eyes.

Willow couldn't help but think that Giles was one of the most sexy man she had ever seen. The picture revealed how beautiful his green eyes were. His eyes were sparkling with life and laughter.

Giles was really an amazing man. He was all man. She had to admit it, Giles was pure hunk material. He is gorgeous!

## (Giles' point of view.)

Giles, at that exact moment was looking over Willow's shoulder. He was thinking about how beautiful Willow looked. In the picture she wore a cute pink and white snow flake sweater. The sweater looked great on her. Though in all honesty he wouldn't mind if she didn't wear anything at all.

Willow, he knew, was a beautiful woman. He'd known that fact for a long, long time. As he glanced at her, he caught the smell of light perfume and strawberries shampoo. It was so sweet smelling...the sent was so Willow.

Willow was sure that her heart was starting to beat faster as she felt Giles lean in a little closer toward her. He could actually feel her warm breath. Giles reached out and touched her hand.

Time seemed to stand still.

##

Giles quickly removed his hand as Buffy told Willow to hurry up and show the next picture. The next picture showed Buffy and Willow, smiling into the camera. Another picture showed Giles and Willow standing close together. They only had eyes for each other.

The perusal of the pictures continued, Willow quickly hid two pictures of Giles with her jacket when she was sure no one was looking. After another hour of laughter and happy memories, both Buffy and Xander
called it quits.

Before they left, Willow informed her friends that she was staying to talk to Giles about a magic spell. When they were alone, Giles stared longingly at her lips, they were just begging to be kissed.

"Giles?"

"Um? Yes, Willow?" Giles' longing quickly turned to concern when Willow looked at him with worry written across her face.

"I feel bad. Real bad."

"You're sick?"

Willow sighed at Rupert's question. "No."

She turned, getting the two pictures she had stolen and showing them to him.

Giles grinned.

"Okay, see, you are not supposed to be smiling. Rupert! I'm a thief!"

Giles shook his head. "No, love you're you."

A second later, Giles pulled out two pictures he had stolen from his pocket. One was of her, smiling. Another was just the two of them.

Willow started to laugh. "We are both so bad!"

"Yes, love, we are."

Giles pulled Willow into his arms and his lips lovingly came down onto hers. The kiss intensified. Becoming even more passionate. When the wonderful kiss came to an end, Willow was still held in his arms.

"Willow, I love you." Giles said honestly. Tenderly. Lovingly.

Willow tightened her arms around him. Happiness and joy overflowed her whole being. She saw so much love in his beautiful green eyes. She didn't realize that the same powerful love was also shining from her own eyes.

"I love you, too. I was so tempted to tell our friends about us."

"They would, how would you term it, freak? It would be best to wait. To be perfectly honest I don't want to have to put up with their questions and disbelief. We'll tell them. Soon. Just not today. Or tomorrow."

"I really don't want to hear Xander and Buffy making those grossed out 'Ewww' sounds."

"Exactly." Giles said with a nod. "Maybe in a couple of weeks."

"Or months."

"Willow."

"Okay! Soon. We'll have to tell them about us soon. But..." Willow smiled seductively up at him. "I want to keep kissing you and maybe show off my new pretty pink satin teddy."

"Let's forget the teddy. All I'm interested in is what's underneath."

Willow laughed as Giles lifted her up into his arms and carried her up stairs to his room.

Outside...

Buffy and Xander were walking side by side...

"Well, that didn't work. I was sure they'd tell us they were a couple if we showed them pictures of them looking all coupely."

"Yeah, so did I." Buffy said softly.

"Why, Buff? Why are they waiting?"

"You know why Xan. Because they are afraid of how we'd take the idea of them being together. We're their friends. What we think means something!"

"I understand; reallly I do. I just wish they would tell us already!"

"Let's wait a few more weeks. Then we'll tell them we know. That way they can have the thrill of being a secret couple for a little longer."

Xander shot Buffy a grin. "Plus, the guilt factor!"

"Oh, Xander! If we play this right, it could be fun."

"Yeah, remember the night we *did* find out about them?"

Buffy laughed. "How could *I* forget. I went into total shock."

"Yeah, so did I." Xander took Buffy's hand and gave it a squeeze. "Do you think we should ever tell them about how we found out about them?"

"You mean tell them that you and me were making out on Giles' couch when Giles and Willow came in to his apartment; tearing off each other's clothes and running to the bedroom?"

"Hey, at least they were to busy with each other to notice us."

"True. Good thing. Because our hand's were in interesting spots."

"We're going to have to tell them about *us*, Buffy and they *will* freak when they find out."

"Maybe. I do see them being overly shocked and perhaps bug eyed for weeks afterwards. But I think we should tell them *when* they tell us about themselves being a couple."

"So we both agree we wait."

"Right."

Suddenly, Buffy stopped and turned to face Xander. She caressed his cheek. "I love you, Xander."

"I've always loved you, Buffy."

Buffy smiled and whispered..."I know."

A second later their lips met and at that moment they no longer focused on Willow and Giles, but instead focused on each other.

(end)
